You can have many window chains open at the same time, which is anothersimilarity to web windows. The first window in every new chain you start byusing the New Finder Window command is always the directory you define as thedefault. The Mac OS X Finder uses a web-like model in that each new Finder window youopen starts a "chain" of windows (thus, the Back and Forward buttons inthe Finder window toolbar).
